Description S&T's Strategic Sustainability Planning Committee was formed in July of 2014 and replaced the former Green Campus Committee. The Green Campus Committee was proposed and approved in 2008 by then Chancellor, Jack Carney and was made up of students, faculty and staff concerned about sustainability issues. Funding was provided for the Office of Sustainable Energy and Environmental Engagement (OSE3) in July of 2011. This office now leads the Strategic Sustainability Planning Committee and guides campus sustainability and climate commitment efforts.
