North Lake College encourages a culture of environmental stewardship. Our mission across campus is to promote student success and community engagement. North Lake College has a full-time Sustainability Coordinator in the Business Services office, working in areas of education programming, facilities operations, and community engagement. The Sustainability Coordinator chairs the Sustainable Blazers Committee, a collaborative steering team of staff and faculty with sub-committees in areas of education, leadership and practice.
North Lake College students are actively involved in student organizations like the Green Club and the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
